TREAT TROLLEY

The Treat Trolley, previously known as the Woot Woot Wagon, is a program run in collaboration with AWE's Guidance Counselor and AWE's Kindness Ambassadors. Student involvement and teacher appreciation are core to this program.

PTO helps support this program by designating a monthly contribution as part of our annual Budget and intermittently inviting parents, guardians, and community to sign up to donate snacks, treats, and drinks. If there is a need for Treat Trolley volunteers, the sign-up can be found under “get involved” and “volunteer opportunities”.

WHAT IS A KINDNESS AMBASSADOR?

Kindness Ambassadors at AWE are chosen through an application process at the beginning of the school year. Any 5th grader interested in promoting kindness at our school and in our community is encouraged to apply. Kindness Ambassadors build leadership skills by participating in and facilitating activities throughout the school year, including the monthly Treat Trolley where we bring snacks and treats to all of our amazing staff to show our appreciation and brighten their day. These are students who directly experience the benefits of helping out others-- without expecting anything in return! Be on the lookout for some other fun Kindness Ambassador led activities!
