The Spring Fundraiser officially kicks-off March 31st (more info will be sent home 3/31) and finishes with a FUN RUN on Friday, April 25th. Read below for more information.

WHAT IS THE EAGLE DASH?

The Eagle Dash is a PTO hosted Spring Fundraiser- our LARGEST fundraiser of the year. Students will raise flat or per lap pledges and then be challenged to “WALK, RUN, SOAR” in a school wide FUN RUN. All students will get to participate in the Fun Run on April 25th, regardless of financial participation, and grown-ups are welcome to cheer on the students.

Our school wide goal is $20,000!

STUDENTS WILL…

  • Raise money for their school.

  • Learn about character through a series of Eagle Expedition Videos. (Including lessons on how their actions impact their school, community and the earth.)

  • Win prizes! Individual, grade-level, and school-wide.

  • Get exercise.

WHAT WILL THE MONEY BE USED FOR?

The first $5,000 will go towards our Classroom Care & Supply Program. To fill the gaps in classroom needs, we supply each accredited teacher with a $100 gift card.

Funds raised over $5,000, with a goal of $15,000, will go towards our Renew A Room Program, giving our 100 year old school the TLC it needs. Multiple rooms could use a makeover! Help us decide which room to modernize, repair, and renew. Vote using the poll below!

By collecting pledges from family and friends across the world, you are supporting all of Alexander Wilson Elementary and the surrounding community.

  • Signing up your student(s) on Pledgestar, our online fundraising platform, takes 5 minutes and will make it fast and easy to request pledges through text, email and social media.

    1. Go to http://pledgestar.com/alexander

    2. Click “Not Registered For This Year’s Event”

    3. Enter your name and email address, then click “Submit”

    4. Follow the instructions on-screen to register student(s) and add family and friends

    When you finish, the system emails pledge requests to your family and friends, and allows them to make secure credit card donations online. You get notified each time a pledge is made, and you can track your pledge progress online.

  • The Eagle Dash is a huge undertaking, and help is needed throughout, especially on Fun Run day. Please consider donating a few hours of your time to make this a success. Sign up here!

  • ONLINE: After registering your student(s), a link will be available for you, friends and family to make donations on the student’s personal donation page. Please note that Pledgestar does deduct processing fees.

    BY CHECK: Checks can be mailed to the school or turned in at the front office.

    There are no fees for CASH & CHECK. If you prefer that 100% of your donation goes directly to our fundraiser, this is the method you would use to donate.
