EVERY FALL…
We set up on the lawn of Alexander Wilson Elementary and enjoy a moment among family, friends, classmates, teachers, and staff. A movie is watched and memories are made. This year the fun is BIGGER & BETTER, starting before the movie begins.
*Note: This is NOT a drop off event. Students MUST have their grown-up with them.

6PM - - - THE FIRST ANNUAL REVERSE FIELD DAY!
Kids and their families will take over the sidelines of the back field and cheer as their favorite AWE TEACHERS & STAFF battle it out for the first major house points of the year AND the title of 2026–2027 REVERSE FIELD DAY CHAMPIONS! It works just like field day, only in...reverse!

ENTRY:
Event entrances with Weapon Detection Systems open at 5:30PM. Get your event wristband here and then head to the field/track to get the best spot.
HELP YOUR HOUSE WIN!
Bring extra money to add to our fundraising buckets. The house with the most amount raised by 6:30PM will earn their house 2 extra points. PLUS!!! Every $5 donated gets you a raffle ticket for the Q1 VIP Car Rider Pass. The Q1 pass allows you to skip the pick-up line every school day during the first quarter (will end on Q1 Awards Day --November 2nd).

CONCESSIONS:
Sales will start near the track/field and move to the courtyard for Movie Night at 7PM.
Concessions traditionally consists of pizza, candy, chips, popcorn and drinks.
***There will be a small quantity of by the slice and whole pizzas being sold at the event. If you are sure your family will want pizza, we strongly encourage you pre-order!

ORDER DEADLINE: You must order by 5PM on Sept 17th (the day before).

HOUSE SWAG:
SEPT 10th @ MIDNIGHT is the last day to order House shirts for your student and all the people that support them.
New to AWE? Select “new student” and we will match you with the correct house color.
Get your official school spirit shirt in your house color!
Grab one for your student and all the AWEsome adults and siblings in their life that have school spirit. Student's wear their house colors every Friday and on special days so they will get lots of use.
WHICH HOUSE COLOR?
Students: Your student will remain in the same house every year they are at AWE, so choose the same color as last year. If your student has not yet been assigned a house because they are new to AWE, you can choose the color "new student" and we will match your students house color to their order as soon as they have been sorted- no need for you to update after the sorting ceremony on September 10th.
Grown-Ups: Some grown-ups choose to wear the same house color as their student and some select the house color they most identify with. Check out the AWE House System details here. If your student hasn’t been sorted and you would like their house color, select your size as a “new student”.
DEADLINE TO ORDER - September 10th!
To keep costs low, we submit our shirt orders in 1 bulk purchase on September 10th.
Delivery is expected by our first BIG event, Reverse Field Day & Movie Night, on September 18th. You may pick up your shirt at the event or we will deliver straight to your students classroom the following week.

2026 MOVIE: Being chosen by student vote. Have your student send their vote back into school.
MOVIE NIGHT SEATING:
Many of you will move your blankets and chairs from the field/track to the courtyard.
WEATHER:
Please keep in mind the temperature, as the sun drops it might get chilly. Our rain date is September 25th.
